This is Heather and her wonderful family. I’ve known Heather for many years. We went to middle and high school together in the wonderful city of Falcon, CO. It’s been so great to see the journey Heather has been on with growing up, school, having kids, and getting married. So glad I was able to get these wonderful Fall photo’s of The Leehang Family. Fall is here and so are the Grothe family pictures! Another year has gone by, and they couldn’t have turned out better. It was a perfect fall day, with the right amount of lighting…. and we finished right before the wind came and took Wakley away! I’m really glad to know the Grothe Family. They are such wonderful family with so much joy, love and laughter. There were just too many photo’s to choose from for a preview, so I just did a whole bunch of them. I couldn’t be happier with how they turned out. I had so much fun capturing their laughs and smiles. Hope you enjoy them!

This is my friend Jess and her boyfriend Patrick. I have been friends with Jess for several years now. We met when I was an intern helping lead a High School Campus Group for _DSM. Jess was always such a happy, positive, individual. After much talks, and friends and such, we became friends. Jess however moved to California with her parents and has been out there ever since. Thankfully, we live in a world of Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and iPhones. So we kept in contact. Jess is a wonderful musician and has such a talent. I can prove it! Just go on iTunes or Spotify and search “Jess Jane.” Such great music. She is gonna go places one day…. and hopefully she brings me along the tour for pictures! 😉 However Jess came to Colorado to visit her boyfriend Patrick. They don’t get to see each other often, so Jess asked if I would do some photo’s. Of course I said yes! Hope you enjoy these as much as I did. However, for this post, I decided to only post Black & Whites. I loved the all so much and I know Jess will love them too!

This was a last minute planned shoot. For no reason, but only for me really. I needed something to find. I needed to find that spark of passion I seemed to have when I first picked up a camera. Seasons change and they don’t stop coming. This new season I find myself in life is quite different. However I always remember that the Lord is so faithful. He is with us even when we forget Him. I am thankful for a good friend and the photographer who inspired me to pick up a DSLR camera and to ‘go for it’. I wouldn’t be were I am now without alot of his encouragement. These pictures, these edits… they mean so much more to me personally than anyone. It’s MY work and it’s what I’m proud of. A big thank you for Emily Knurr for getting up at 6am and posing! 🙂

The Grothe’s! Daniel, Lisa, Lillian, Wilson & Wakely. I am so grateful to know this beautiful family and so thankful for their friendship. A family full of love, laughs and smiles. I was really excited to do a fall family shoot, and Lisa caught me off guard a couple weeks asking for pictures. How great! The weather was perfect. I had so much fun capturing the laughs and smiles here. Hope you enjoy them!
