Friends | Portraits

So I really had fun with this shoot. I needed a spark in my creativity to help finish some projects I’m working on. So I took these great people out for a shoot downtown. It was great. We had too much fun with the camera and leaves. Some of these are shot by Carson Cooper, and I think he did great. I am so blessed to know these people and so glad we had the time and opportunity to do this. It really helped me remember the reason why I love taking pictures.

Aryn & Jason | Wedding

I have known Aryn for quite a while now. We were on different teams with the mill missions to Germany in 2010. However Jason, Aryn and myself attended the same High School back in the day. I had been talking with Aryn for quite some time now about her wedding and being able to capture the special day. I was quite excited. I know they both are looking forward to this new chapter in life together, loving each other, but more importantly, loving the Lord. Here’s just a few to show off from the day if you missed it!

Nicole & Andrew | Wedding

Nicole is one of my really great friends who has such a great sense of humor. We’ve known each other for almost 2 years now. We met on a mill road trip event to the Passion conferences in Ft. Worth, TX last year. There was about 50 of us that went and it ended up being such a great trip. From then, we got to hang out from mutual friends and seeing each other at the mill. After that summer when Nicole came back from her missions trip from Nepal, we really got to know each other and hang out. Just discussing life, laughs, problems, and so on and so forth. I did a photo shoot of Nicole a while back and Nicole just knew I had to do her wedding & engagements! She didn’t even know Andrew at the time when she told me! Shortly after though, Nicole met Andrew and was in just absolute love. When I finally met him, I could tell he was the one for Nicole. To handle all her laughs, adventures, craziness, and heart of love. It was such an honor and privilege to capture their beautiful day! It was at a perfect sunny day out in Black Forest at the Pinery. Photo credit for some of these pictures goes to my friend Josh Cuchiara. I really hope you enjoy these pictures as I know Nicole has. Be on the look out VERY soon for a new post from a wedding I did the day before Nicole’s!

Edie & Isabell | Portraits

Edie was my manager at the movie theater back when I was 16 and in High School. Thanks to technology and good ole Facebook, we’ve stayed in contact. Edie contacted me a couple weeks ago wondering if i would take pictures of her with her daughter Isabell. So one day, we met at Palmer Park captured laughs and smiles. It was a windy day on the trail, but we made do! Enjoy!

Emily Knurr | Portraits

So this post is WAY long over due. I took these such a long time ago for fun with Emily, but got really busy with weddings and a new job. But better late than never! Emily is so photogenic and is so fun to work with. We went to this open field/park here in the springs one really hot day this summer. I mean… I just think the pictures speak for themselves. Emily  you are gorgeous. Enjoy!

Kelsey Rohlfing | Senior Portraits

Kelsey is about to be a senior at Doherty High School. Her mom works with my good friend Nicole’s mom at Integrity/David Cook. Small world. Kelsey seems to be quite passionate about missions, softball and the simple fun things in life. We were able to get so many different shots with different backgrounds so quick. It was great! Enjoy!

Ruberg Sisters | Portraits

Rachelle has been such a dear friend of mine. We were in DLA this past year and she has been such a joy and encouragement and great friend. We had the opportunity to share some great memories, especially going on tour thru Seattle and Portland. Rachelle’s sisters came out to visit for the graduation and they ALWAYS get a photoshoot together. They got some very exciting and fun props and we went out for a shoot out in Black Forest. These are just a few. Can’t wait for Rachelle to see a few when she gets back from Cambodia!

McClelland Family | Portraits

What a gorgeous family! Meet the McClelland’s! I had Kim way back in the day when I was in 6th grade for English. It has been way too long. Who would have thought that 13 years later I would be taking family pictures for them? It took as a while because we have such crazy schedules, but we were finally able to make it happen. The sun was perfect and the settings were great. Hope you enjoy them!

Andrew & Nicole | Engagement

I am so excited for this post. Nicole has been such a dear friend of mine for quite sometime. We met last year on a road trip to Ft. Worth, Texas for a Passion Conference. Between that, and mutual friends and going to the mill, we got to be great friends. Nicole met Andrew recently, and just the look in her eyes and voice, she knew (and I could tell) he was the one. Nicole has been such a great supporter of my photography, and was just waiting for Andrew to ask those four simple words… “will you marry me?” The day came and we were already excited to pick a date and take pictures. I hope you love them as much as I hope Andrew and Nicole will.

Girl’s Discipleship Group | Lifestyle

So, all of these girls are just wonderful. Wooree, Lauren, Tanya, Rochelle, Heather, & Hailey. We had so much fun venturing to Old Colorado City for some pictures. They each are so unique in their personalities, but all have such a heart for the Lord. I love seeing them, all the laughs they share, and the smiles that came out of these pictures. Enjoy!!!
